There are many computer gadgets available for the everyday PC user.  From cleaning devices to interesting and sometimes unnecessary inventions, there is something for everybody.  Here are some of the most original products on the market today:

• USB Flower Hub:  Similar to an outlet extender, this cute hub provides extra USB space for any computer.  The hubs are shaped like red tulips, and this creates a device that is sure to make users smile.  These typically costs between $17 and $20 in online stores.
• Cool Feet:  Ironically, it is the computer that is kept cool this time.  Small “feet” are used on the bottom of the PC to prop it up and ensure air flow to the system. The machine operates at a slight angle, and this takes some getting used to, but buyers agree it greatly lowers the temperature of their computers.  These typically sell for $18.00.

Graphing calculators may be required for many math classes and businesses as well.  Buyers who are looking to purchase one may want to consider the following models, which typically fall in the $70 to $100 price range:

The Canon PowerShot G12 is an excellent camera for the price.  It offers many features that are typical of larger, digital cameras, but packs them into a smaller body.  Here is a list of options that the camera offers:

The Microsoft Kinnect is the company’s response to the Nintendo Wii. This addition to the popular Xbox gaming system makes motion sensor technology a part of the gaming experience, only without the now clearly cumbersome remotes. This system has been very well received by not only consumers who love the integrated gaming system and smart motion sensing hardware but by industries all across the board that are eager to incorporate this seamless motion sensing technology into their own fields. The medical community is particularly excited about the potential to integrate this technology with both education and enhanced patient care.

Nintendo made its first appearance in 16 years at this year’s CES. It premiered its 3DS, a 3D version of its popular DS portable gaming system. This design is so seamless and fun to play it took the Best of CES Gaming Award this year. The audience and judges clearly responded to not only the 3D gaming and WiFi access port but also the 3D movie playback and the ability for the integration of Mii characters from your home Wii system. Nintendo’s first appearance at CES in close to two decades was clearly worth the wait.

Apple iPhone 4 Reviews

The Apple iPhone 4 has been a highly recommended device in recent months.  With its sharp displays and excellent video camera, this phone tops many others.  Longer battery life and a front-facing camera for video chats helps users feel a better sense of connection.

The Apple iPhone 4 has had its fair share of problems.  Although it technologically keeps up with other popular phones, many buyers have reported a problem with its reception.  Sometimes, when the user’s hand crosses the left side of the phone, signal quality lessens greatly and callers can lose reception altogether.

Apple tested the problem and originally claimed that faulty software was the problem.  The company stated that the phone displayed two more signal bars than it should have for reception availability.  In other words, the phone gave the impression that it was receiving better reception than it really was.

After testing, Apple found that faulty software was not the problem, nor was the AT&T network.  Due to this, most people do not recommend the iPhone 4 and they also believe their unfortunate circumstances should be remedied.  To temporarily relieve the problem, customers have found that placing a small piece of duct tape over the gap in the antenna area can do the trick.  Although it may look hideous, most people feel that it helps reception and that is more important than how the phone looks.

Some people also recommend using a very slim case to protect the reception area.  Reports indicate that customers have fewer dropped calls when they are using cases on the phone.  Other customers say that because of the cases, they have had no dropped calls whatsoever and would highly recommend this phone.

Other small problems that have been reported for the iPhone 4 include the SMS system.  Text messages that are sent are never reported received.  Other flaws include camera problems and lack of blackout screens when making calls.
