Apple iPhone 4 Reviews

The Apple iPhone 4 has been a highly recommended device in recent months.  With its sharp displays and excellent video camera, this phone tops many others.  Longer battery life and a front-facing camera for video chats helps users feel a better sense of connection.

The Apple iPhone 4 has had its fair share of problems.  Although it technologically keeps up with other popular phones, many buyers have reported a problem with its reception.  Sometimes, when the user’s hand crosses the left side of the phone, signal quality lessens greatly and callers can lose reception altogether.

Apple tested the problem and originally claimed that faulty software was the problem.  The company stated that the phone displayed two more signal bars than it should have for reception availability.  In other words, the phone gave the impression that it was receiving better reception than it really was.

After testing, Apple found that faulty software was not the problem, nor was the AT&T network.  Due to this, most people do not recommend the iPhone 4 and they also believe their unfortunate circumstances should be remedied.  To temporarily relieve the problem, customers have found that placing a small piece of duct tape over the gap in the antenna area can do the trick.  Although it may look hideous, most people feel that it helps reception and that is more important than how the phone looks.

Some people also recommend using a very slim case to protect the reception area.  Reports indicate that customers have fewer dropped calls when they are using cases on the phone.  Other customers say that because of the cases, they have had no dropped calls whatsoever and would highly recommend this phone.

Other small problems that have been reported for the iPhone 4 include the SMS system.  Text messages that are sent are never reported received.  Other flaws include camera problems and lack of blackout screens when making calls.
